About the event

Free State Brewing Company invites the community to celebrate Kansas’ rich outdoor heritage at Trails That Connect Us, a free Spring event on at its Eastside Brewery location. Hosted in partnership with Kansas Trails Inc and Friends of Lawrence Area Trails, the event will take place along the Burroughs Creek Trail at 19th Street and Moodie Road.

Attendees can enjoy Free State beer, flavorful food, live local music, a brewery open house, and a variety of exhibits highlighting local trails and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout Douglas County. Designed for all ages, Trails That Connect Us offers family-friendly activities, opportunities to share stories with fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and inspiration for new adventures close to home.

Guests are encouraged to arrive by foot or bicycle via the Burroughs Creek Trail; complimentary valet bike parking will be available. Dogs on leash are welcome in outdoor areas. In the event of inclement weather, the…
