Tiny Ones is designed for the smallest of our TimberNook adventurers. You and your child will venture outdoors for creative play opportunities that foster healthy child development. You’ll also receive ideas on how to inspire independent play at home.

About the event
Tiny Ones at TimberNook invites children 1-5 years old to experience the beauty and calm found in our native Kansas forest. Each day, little ones will explore the outdoor environment filled with materials designed to inspire gross and fine motor skill development, encourage social interactions, and spark imaginative play.
This nature-based program promotes physical health through activities that enhance movement, coordination, and balance. It also supports mental well-being by fostering curiosity, building problem-solving skills, and providing a stress-free space for children to connect with nature and their peers.
Tiny Ones is a family-centered experience where caregivers supervise from a distance. Nursing babies are welcome to attend for no charge with a paid sibling registration. Older siblings are also welcome to attend with a paid registration if it's a good fit; email Jen at nekansastimbernook@gmail.com if you'd like to bring along older children.
