About the event

The Watkins Museum is holding a student art competition, and all students in grades K-12 are eligible! The theme is "What Makes Your School Special?" Between now and May 22, email info@watkinsmuseum.org with: - Subject line “Student Art” - Your name -Your grade -A photo of your original artwork, in any medium, responding to the theme Art in any medium is welcome.  Visit our website here for more information.

All submissions will be displayed in an online exhibit on watkinsmuseum.org From May 23 to June 23, the public will vote on their favorite pieces in four age categories. Winners will be announced June 25. 

The winners in each age category will have their original works displayed at the Watkins Museum November 21, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
