This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required. Hikes begin at 8:30 am. Parking is "interesting" because of the construction on Bob Billings. Come in through the open red gate and travel to the inner parking lot to the Welcome table.

Our first hike is designed for girls registered for Day Camp at Hidden Valley and their families. It is a great opportunity to learn what to expect at Camp—fun, informative, and especially helpful for parents who want a preview of the experience.

Our second hike is open to everyone who would enjoy a relaxed walk through native woodland. We will focus on identifying native plants and spotting local birds, all right here in the heart of Lawrence.
