The official host of the parade (and the heart and soul of Mardi Gras in Kansas), TerreBonne Po’ Boys (845 Mass.), will be open at 8 for coffee and beignets and then open up their whole menu at 11. The parade will kick off at noon as usual in front of Lucia (1016 Mass.). We’ll be taking a boisterous stroll through downtown, raising a mighty ruckus on street corners and making forays into any establishment that wants to join the party. There will be extended stop-ins at TerreBonne and the legendary Free State Brewing Company.

It takes as long as it takes and it happens rain or shine, cold or freezing. Take a long lunch - or just take the whole day off; bring an instrument if you want to join the fray! Feel free to message us for music/rehearsal details.
