Every summer, the Burroughs Creek is flooded with bioluminescence. To celebrate, the community is invited to the Firefly Festival in Burroughs Creek Park where we will enjoy making art and listening to live music. The celebration begins at 5pm with a picnic, where we encourage you to pack in (and pack out) a scrumptious dinner and drinks. Bring a blanket or chairs.

At 7pm, there will be a live music performance by 3 local bands: Sky Smeed, Signal Ridge, and Megafauna.

Following the performances, everyone is invited to take a walk along the creek to experience our fireflies. Artists and musicians are encouraged to bring their media. There will be opportunities for music jams before and after the concert. Folks are encouraged to utilize the Burroughs Creek Rail Trail by biking, walking or scooter-ing as most of the parking lot will be used for festival activities. Handicap parking will be…
