Have you ever tasted the difference between a tomato that was shipped hundreds of miles in January versus one picked from your school garden in July? This week we will visit some local gardens, farms and restaurants to learn about growing, harvesting, and preparing delicious locally-grown food. We will also be cooking and feasting on our own creations from local products in the Seabury culinary kitchen. If you have an interest in farming, gardening, and cooking in healthy and sustainable ways this is the camp for you.
