The KU Natural History Museum invites visitors to see flora and fauna from several countries participating in the international soccer phenomenon coming to Greater Kansas City this summer. It's our gooooalllll to show you some of our favorite specimens from around the world.

About the event
This display shows a range of items from Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Curacao, Ecuador, England, the Netherlands, and Tunisia. They are beautiful, interesting, and vital to learning about the diversity, ecology, and the history of life on Earth.
The University of Kansas Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum is world-renowned. We care for 11 million specimens of plants, fungi, animals, and fossils. We also have 2 million cultural objects. These items come from more than 220 countries, including all of the countries playing soccer matches in Kansas City this summer.
