The famous team of Clydesdale horses used in promotional appearances and advertising for Budweiser will appear at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. They typically travel as a hitch, or team, and pull a historic-style red Budweiser wagon. Their visit to Lawrence honors the first responders in the community.

On Friday, September 11, the team will hitch up around 1:00 p.m. near 11th and Massachusetts in an empty lot before parading by the KU football stadium on Mississippi Street, probably around 5:00 p.m.
